Steve and Tom will be playing at Bossa Bistro + Lounge in Washington D.C.'s historic Adams Morgan neighborhood on Saturday October 21. They will be supporting their friend Don Zientara. Don is a true legend. The owner and operator of the famed Inner Ear Studio in Arlington, VA, Don has been the engineer behind classic records by bands such as Minor Threat, Fugazi, The Dismemberment Plan, Bad Brains and Vic Chestnutt. Don was also featured extensively in episode 2 of the Foo Fighters HBO documentary Sonic Highways. In addition to being an outstanding engineer, who we were lucky to have work with us on High Water and Saint Stephanie and the Stones, he is an accomplished musician himself with several outstanding records available on the Dischord label.
Bossa Bistro + Lounge is located at 2463 18th Street, NW in the heart of DC's Adams Morgan neighborhood. Don will play an acoustic set from 7pm until 8pm. Steve and Tom will follow with an acoustic-ish set of their own from 8pm to 9pm. There is no cover charge, though donations are gladly accepted to support the recording of BSG Album 4, coming in 2018!
